§ Quick start

How to use this converter

  1. 1Enter an amount. Type the figure you want to price – a position size, a simulated Performance Reward, or any sum you need in another currency.
  2. 2Pick the two currencies. Choose what you are converting from and to, then tap the swap button to flip the direction in one click.
  3. 3Read the result. The large figure is your converted amount; the two lines below give the live rate and its inverse, so you can read the pair either way.
  4. 4Use it for planning. Every figure is a mid-market estimate that refreshes periodically – handy for budgeting, not a rate you can lock in.

How the Conversion Works

converted = amount × (rateto / ratefrom)

inverseRate = 1 / rate

Rates refresh throughout the trading day and may differ from the rate applied at Performance Reward.

Key Terms

Mid-Market Rate
The midpoint between the bid and ask price – the reference rate quoted by banks and data providers. It carries no dealing spread, which is why converters use it as a clean benchmark.
Cross Rate
A currency pair that does not involve the US dollar, such as EUR/GBP or AUD/JPY. Cross rates are derived from each currency's rate against the dollar.
Spread
The difference between the bid and the ask. It represents the execution cost applied on live trades and is the reason a real conversion differs from the mid-market figure.
Base & Quote
The first currency in a pair – the one you convert from. The amount you type is expressed in the base currency, and the rate tells you how much of the quote currency one unit buys.

What Is a Currency Converter?

A currency converter helps you calculate the equivalent value of one currency in another using current exchange rates. Whether you're planning trades, sizing positions, or estimating what a simulated Performance Reward is worth in your local currency, this tool gives you an instant, mid-market conversion.

Our converter supports 12 major currencies – including USD, EUR, GBP, JPY, CHF and popular emerging-market currencies like TRY and BRL – and shows both the exchange rate and its inverse so you can read a pair in either direction.

The rate you see is the mid-market rate: the midpoint between the buy and sell price that banks and data providers quote among themselves. It carries no dealing spread, which makes it a clean reference for planning – but it is not the rate at which a real transaction settles. Treat every figure as an estimate rather than a locked-in quote.
